Residents are required to enter their procedures into New Innovations following each procedure. This database will serve as verification for credentialing requirements for each procedure. Below are the minimum number of performed procedures required to be credentialed. Certainly it can frequently take many more for a resident to become comfortable performing these procedures on their own.

Procedure notes should use the templates within Excellian and always include a pre-op and post-op diagnosis in the top portion of the template. The indication for a procedure must be an actual diagnosis. For example, an aterial line indication can not be "Blood Gas Monitoring", but rather needs to be "Ventilatory Failure" or "Hypotension".
